It is said that the Scottish Island of Iona is a place on earth where “the air is thin between heaven and earth”.
 
On this small island, St. Columba formed a center of training for the illustration of the Christian Gospels. Talented artists, whose work still lives, spread their creativity far and wide and back to Columba’s native Ireland.
 
Some think that wherever the creative mind of an artist is, there the air is thin between heaven and earth. In truth, the air is thin, not in any particular place, but in the soul of the artist, who has touched the Infinite.
